Rating Criteria
Limitation of extension of the forearm: Extension limited to 45 degrees from full flexion position (cannot fully straighten arm).
Note: Normal extension = 0 degrees (full extension). Flexion contracture at 45 degrees.
Limitation of extension of the forearm to 70 degrees from the position of full flexion (flexion contracture at 70 degrees).
Limitation of extension of the forearm to 90 degrees from the position of full flexion (flexion contracture at 90 degrees).
Limitation of extension of the forearm to 110 degrees from the position of full flexion (severe flexion contracture).
Limitation of extension of the forearm to 135 degrees from the position of full flexion (arm nearly fixed in full flexion).
