O-1 Basic Pay (2026)
An O-1 is paid $4,150.20 a month in basic pay with 2 or less years of service, rising to $5,222.40 a month from over 3 years of service, under the DFAS officer pay table effective January 1, 2026. Below is every rate DFAS publishes for O-1, 22 steps by cumulative years of service.

O-1 rates by cumulative years of service, as DFAS publishes them. “12 months at this rate” is 12 times the monthly rate.
