Fair to everyone.
There are no fees and no paid tier. Personal and commercial use differ in one way: a link back to VeteranHQ.

Showing the data to anyone else, in an app, website, newsletter, community, or organization, paid or free? Two conditions:
- Credit VeteranHQ with a visible link to veteranhq.app/space-a-flights wherever the data appears.
- Keep a confirm-with-the-terminal notice next to every departure you show. Space-A is standby travel, and seats and schedules change.
Fair use, for everyone.
- Request the feed no more than once every 15 minutes and cache what you get. It does not change faster than that.
- Your API key is yours. Do not share or publish it; keys that are shared or leaked are revoked.
- Fetch from your own server and serve your users from your cache. Do not have their devices call the feed directly.
- Stay within the rate limits. Clients over them get an error, and abusive or attack traffic is blocked automatically, without notice.
- Do not work around the limits, or probe, overload, or attack the service.
- Do not suggest that VeteranHQ endorses your product, or that the feed comes from or is endorsed by the Department of Defense, the U.S. Air Force, or Air Mobility Command.

- The feed is provided as is, with no promise of accuracy, completeness, or availability. It is read from terminal publications and can be wrong or late.
- VeteranHQ is not liable for travel plans, missed flights, costs, or any other loss that comes from using the feed.
- We can change, rate limit, suspend, or end the feed, or any client’s access, at any time and without notice.
- We may update these terms. Using the feed after an update means you accept the new version.

Where does the data come from?
The official 72-hour outlook PDFs that each AMC passenger terminal publishes on its AFPIMS page. They are unclassified, publicly posted documents. VeteranHQ fetches each one every 15 minutes, extracts the flights, and keeps the source publication time on every record.
How fresh is it?
Terminals publish on their own cadence, and gaps of one to six days between updates are normal at quieter terminals. Every record carries both the time the source PDF was published and the time we extracted it, so your product can show freshness honestly instead of implying a live departure board.
What format is it?
JSON over HTTPS. Two resources: the terminal registry and the flight feed (upcoming departures for the next 96 hours plus the last 7 days). Times are provided in UTC and in the local ISO form each terminal keeps. Responses are cache-friendly; the reference guide covers headers and limits.
What does access cost?
Nothing. The feed is free for personal and commercial use. Shared or commercial use needs a visible link back to VeteranHQ and the standby notice; the terms above have the details.
Do I need to sign anything?
No. Checking the box on the application means you agree to the Space-A Feed Terms on this page. There is no contract to sign and no fee.
Can I show seat counts?
Yes, exactly as the terminal published them. Seat figures are often tentative (a "T" suffix in the outlook) and change up to roll call, so show them as published and keep the standby caveat visible.
Can I get access without applying?
No. Applying is free, takes about five minutes, and is how you agree to the terms and receive your API key. If you just want to find a flight, the free Space-A hub and email alerts work without an account.
Is VeteranHQ affiliated with the Department of Defense or AMC?
No. VeteranHQ is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Air Force, Air Mobility Command, or any government agency. Travelers must confirm flight details with the terminal's Passenger Service Agents before traveling.
