NAS Sigonella Passenger Terminal

You can sign up for Space A travel at NAS Sigonella Passenger Terminal in person at the Passenger Service Counter, or by following the sign-up instructions on their AFPIMS page. Many terminals also accept email sign-ups with your name, DoD ID, eligibility category, and desired destinations. Sign-ups are valid for 60 days. NAS Sigonella Passenger Terminal publishes its 72-hour outlook on a manual cadence through the official AMC AFPIMS system. VeteranHQ pulls the published PDF every 15 minutes and surfaces new flights within minutes of publication. Gaps of 1–6 days between updates are normal — this reflects AMC's publishing patterns, not a data error. The freshness indicator on this page shows when the most recent PDF was published.

At roll call, the Passenger Service Agent calls passengers by priority category, then by sign-up date within each category. Categories I through V are called before Category VI (retired dependents and 100% P&T disabled veterans). You must be present at roll call time — typically 2–3 hours before departure, though NAS Sigonella may have specific procedures. If you miss roll call, you lose your position for that flight.

Required documents depend on your eligibility category. At minimum, bring a current military ID, retiree card, or VA 100% P&T letter. For international travel, bring a valid passport and any required visas. Retirees with dependents need dependent ID cards. Bring your Space A sign-up confirmation. Contact the terminal directly for destination-specific requirements — some countries require special entry documentation even for military travelers.

Dependents of active duty service members can travel unaccompanied under certain conditions (command-sponsored ID, EML orders). Dependents of retirees generally may not travel unaccompanied on Space A unless the retiree is also traveling. Dependents of 100% P&T disabled veterans are not automatically eligible unless the veteran is also a military retiree. Rules vary — confirm with the specific terminal Passenger Service Agent.
